I am a proud Gumbaynggirr woman from Yellow Rock, Urunga, custodian of the beautiful Bellingen valley. I am the firstborn daughter and granddaughter of my line, a devoted mother of four beautiful children, a loved wife and the embodiment of my Ancestors wildest dreams.
I am always co-creating with the ones who came before me, the ones still walking beside me, and the ones who have come through me. My path is shaped by Country, Spirit, and kinship, rooted in Ancestral wisdom and relationship

IMPERFECT PRINTS
A series of hand-carved lino prints exploring self love while navigating the colonial world & the toxic societal norms of having an aging body. Because art is always political, A fuck you to the bullshit beauty standards we're taught to measure ourselves against.
Made as an act of rebellion, these little prints are about visibility, curiosity and reclaiming our natural bodies as the beauty standards.
Hand carved. Hand printed. Never exactly the same.
Not perfect, not uniform, not the same.
These are hand printed, so each one comes with its own quirks and imperfections. They're roughly around an A6 sizing, some are smaller some are larger. That is the point.
Imperfect prints is a form of decolonizing for me, releasing colonial programming of perfectionism, and making room for things to be exactly as they are, celebrating human hand made.

A monthly snail-mail art experiment.
On the first Thursday of every month, at 7pm AEST (Sydney, Australia time), Group reiki session, & attempt to visually scribe / create an artwork of/from the energetic space.
Just one hour of paying attention and attuning into the energy of the group, And because this is made by me, it won’t always look the same.
There are no set themes, no formula, and I’m deliberately leaving room for this to become whatever it wants to become.
The artwork and letter are the heart of it, but some months there might be something extra tucked inside a sticker, a scribble, a little something I’ve been making or thinking about that month. Other months, there might not.
I’m a Reflector. I change. I’m influenced by what I’m around, what I’m noticing, what I’m feeling and what life looks like at the time. I don’t want to remove that from this by trying to make every month fit the same mould.
So while we’re tuning into something collectively, it’s still coming through me, my hands, my art, my perspective, my weird little brain. I want to leave enough space for this to grow, shift and surprise me too.
You’re invited to spend the hour however you want, wherever you are. Make something, think about something, sitting quietly, going for a walk or just being engulfed in your day and not even giving it a second thought.
For me at the end of the hour, I’ll have a piece of artwork, this artwork will be created into prints and sent to you, along with a letter about the experience of making it and my interpretation on what came up during that hour.
I don’t really know what this project is yet but that’s kind of the point.
